Relay for Life & Huntington's Disease Fundraiser
    Carnival for a Cure is raising money for 2 great causes!
What:
Carnival for a Cure in part with Applebee's is hosting its 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit Relay for Life and Huntington's Disease Society of America.
When: This Saturday, February 26 - 8:00am-10:00am
Cost:
The cost is $5 for unlimited pancakes, sausage & a beverage of your choice (coffee, juice, milk). 3 & under are FREE!!

Walt Clark Cougars Cruzin for a Cause
    Walt Clark Cougars Cruzin for a Cause

February 23rd 2011, Walt Clark Middle School hosted a walk a thon to raise funds for the school's field trips and technology needs. The entire day was dedicated to Health and Wellness awareness and a time to walk! Students participated in twenty stations ranging from 24 Hour Fitness to Japanese culture. Other stations included weightlifting, P90X, Insanity exercise, Student depression awareness, the dangers of alcohol and meth, Best Buy provided the X-Box Kinect, and Trans Martial Arts were there to instruct. Mountain View Track Club @ Simplot Games
    Four boys from the Mountain View Track Club took 10th place in the 4x400 finals at Simplot Games.
Simplot is North America's Premier Indoor High School Track and Field Event, which was held on February 17-19th at Idaho State University.
The finalists are all from Mountain View High School in Loveland. Left to right, Mario Blanco, Zack Mehn, Coach Kevin Clark, Nick Black and Chris Wacker.

Tristan Seymour Qualifies for Junior Olympics
    Tristan Seymour, a Freshman at Loveland High School, qualified for the J3 Junior Olympic Ski Team this weekend in Winter Park. Tristan is a First year competitive racer. He races for the Winter Park Alpine team. Tristan competes in Down Hill, Super G, GS and Slalom.
The J3 Junior Olympics will be held March 6th-12th in Aspen, Colorado.
